At Maine Station, Appanoose county,
Iowa, November 27th, 1883, Mary Gladfelder, little daughter of Thos. and Louisa Gladfelder, died of that fatal disease, membraneous croup.
After a few days of hard struggling God released her of her pains and called her home.
