—Mrs. Phoebe Everman, wife of B. S. Everman, died at her home three and a half miles north of Centerville, on Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock. The funeral took place at Fairview Chapel yesterday, Thursday, at 1000 a. m., and was very largely attended. Mrs. Everman has been a sufferer with that dread disease, consumption, for some time and all that medical skill could do to stay the progress of the disease, was done, but to no avail. An overland trip was undertaken this summer to Colorado but before it was completed she broke down and was brought home by rail. This was several weeks ago and since her arrival home she has been very low, the end coming as above stated. Mr. Everman and family have the Sincere sympathy of the community in their sad affliction

Note: Phoebe buried at Dale cemetery, Centerville, Appanoose Co., Iowa.

-----
— Mrs. B. S. Everman died at her home northwest of Centerville last night at 7:30 o'clock of consumption. While her death was not unexpected it comes as a severe shock to her family. Her husband took her West this summer hoping to benefit her health but she gradually became worse until about two weeks ago she was brought home and since then her death has been looked
for almost at any time. The funeral services will be conducted by Reverend Moffett at Fairview chapel tomorrow at 10 o'clock a. m.
