— John Myers, probably the oldest person in the county, died last Wednesday night at the home of his son in this place. It is not known just how
old he was but he was getting well on towards the century mark. He had been able to get around pretty well until last spring, when be fell on the sidewalk and severely hurt his hip since that time he has been confined to his bed and life has been a burden. He was buried in Oakland cemetery on Thursday.
