So sorry to hear of the death of Vera Daniels, 83, who passed away at St. Lukes Hospital in Davenport, following an illness. She was the daughter of James and Mary Cooley and was raised in this vicinity and will be remembered by
many here. She married Fred Daniels and he preceded her in death January 1986.
The Daniels have several relatives still living here and they were able to attend the services in spite of the had ice and snow storm. She has a daughter, Shirley Williams, surviving and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One sister, Valla Keller, lives in Centerville but was unable to go to the funeral.
A brother Sam, of Greenville, Mich, was also unable to attend. The family has always been close to us, going to the same schools and Valla was Ted's teacher in the Hilltown country school. Our deepest sympathy to the family.
