Stam—Underwood

Miss Eleni Stam, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Stam, of Moulton, became the bride of Mr. John Underwood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claud Underwood, Sunday, November 29 at 2:00. o'clock p. m. in the Methodist parsonage at Unionville. Rev C. W. Kocher read the single ring ceremony in the presence of Miss Inez Gordy of Bloomfield, a former classmate of the bride, and Mr. Joe Scott, who attended the bridegroom.
The wedding party included parents of the couple, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Stam and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Underwood, the bride's brother-inlaw
and sister, Mr. and Mrs. John Reno of Ottumwa, Miss LaVasa McMillen, of Bloomfield, Sam Stam and Darlene Underwood.
Immediately following the ceremony, the bride and bridegroom accompanied Mr. and Mrs. John Reno to their home in Ottumwa where a 6:00 o'clock wedding dinner was served. The young couple left for a short wedding trip and future plans have not as yet been disclosed
