g-grandparents: John G. & Sarah Deeny/Denny

My great grandfather John/John G Deeny or Denny lived in Allamakee County in the late 1850s with his wife Sarah Gallager/Gallager.

I have been able to find no record of their marriage.

Their first child Mary Ellen Deeny was born in Waukon, IA Feb 24, 1858. I have a copy of her death cert where she died in Waucoma while visiting a friend.

I assume her parents John and Sarah lived in Waukon. In the US 1860 Census they were living in Makee Township.

Any assistance would be appreciated as I live near Boston, Masachusetts.
