I am researching John CONNERY, 1814-1892, his parents could be named PATRICK CONNERY and ??SCULLION of Co Derry, Ire. and Margaret COYLE, 1814-1855/6. Her parents were PHILIP COYLE and CATHERINE CAMPBELL of PA where whe was born. John was born in Co. Derry, Ireland and migrated to the US abt 1814. He settled in Ohio, where he purchased land and married Margaret COYLE in 1838. They and their 7 children moved to Paint Creek twp, Allamakee county in 1852 where another child was born. Margaret passed away sometime after Mar 1855 and when the State census was taken in 1856. In 1862, John and Bridget Cummins applied for and received an application for a marriage license. John and Bridget are both buried in St Pius Church yard in Cherry Mound cemetery. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who is researching this family.
