Need help to ID woman in photo with Karen Bottolfsen Steen

This photo is from the Bottolfsen/Bottolfson family. The woman on the right is Karen Bottolfsen Steen wife of Knud Knutsen Steen and daughter of Bottolf and Marthe Marie Andersdtr Bottolfsen.

I would like an ID for the woman on the left. The family is uncertain as to her identity.

Some think it may be Marthe Marie Andersdtr Bottolfsen, but I believe Karen is too old to still have her mother alive. There was no clue as to where the photo was taken.

I'm hoping that someone recognizes the woman on the left.
