Livingood family

The "Carpenter Family through Mar2013" family tree on Ancestry shows Greenbury Jackson Livingood, 1821 – 1898, to be David's brother. No parents given. Greenbury is Find A Grave Memorial # 13856541. Greenbury was in Allamakee County in 1860 and in 1885. He was buried there in 1898. I am trying to determine if he was the brother David Livingood went to meet when he arrived in Iowa about 1855. David is Find A Grave Memorial# 54109698. David's obit states: Mr. Livingood was born in Ohio December 1, 1830. His parents died when he was but a small boy and he was left to make his own way in the world." also "About seventy years ago he came to Iowa going to a brother located in Allamakee county." I have not found parents for either of the above Livingoods.
