Thank you, thank you for replying to my posting!! My dad and I have been hunting for Jesse Myron Rose's family since the 1960s. Yours is the first positive clue to his origins i have come across yet. Give me a day or two to look up what I have on Jesse's possible families-we just moved, so my records and notes are still in boxes. Jesse is supposed to have been born in Otis, Massachusetts, his father in Rhode Island. Does this gibe with what you know about your McMillin family? I am so excited about this clue you offer me. I will get right on this and let you know what I come up with.
