According to the Civil War Pension Index, Leonard M. Schreiber, A 27 Iowa Inf. filed for a pension on 21 Apr 1885, application #538094, certificate # 1019634. Widow's pension filed 14 Jun 1901 by Sophia Schreiber, application #743375, certificate # 520087. The index does not list any dependents. To request a copy of the pension file from the National Archives, send an e-mail to inquire@nara.gov with your name and postal address and request NATF Form 85.
Leonard M. Schreiber is listed on the 1900 census in Dubuque, IA with wife Sophia and children Pauline S., Charles L., and Emily M. Since he died by June of 1901, he may be buried in Dubuque. Hope this helps.
