Also, I want to add that I have pictures of them living in the house that it sounds like you live in now. I would love to see what that house looks like today. I will dig out the pictures and scan them to my SkyDrive account so that you can have a copy. I have pictures of the whole family back then, as well as pictures of Hall's store in North Hollywood, CA. The store was first on Pico Blvd. in L.A., but they moved it to North Hollywood where it existed for nearly 70 years. The Pico Blvd. store was in the place that L.A. Live and the Staples Center sit now. The store I remember was on Lankershim Blvd. in No. Hollywood. Anyway, I have lots of pictures--also of them on Catalina Island where they frequently vacationed.
