According to http://lacrosselibrary.org/genealogy/historicevents.asp, Fred W. Bulmahn of Brownsville, MN, died in July of 1945.
Frederick and Louisa's daughter, Rowena, was married to my great-granduncle, Lambert Middendorf. I do have more information on that line if you're interested, as well as on Julius & Maria (Bulmahn) Hanke and family.
