ANY FAMILY WITH PIONEER ROOTS TO UNION PRAIRIE WEST RIDGE ALLAMAKEE

I am putting together a History of the Pioneer families of the Union Prairie/ West Ridge area of Allamakee County. I have the history & pictures of aprox. 15 families who settled in this area. I am looking for donations of copies of pictures and family histories of this area to make a booklet to give to a man who saved a very important piece of this areas history. Mr Pat Curtin saved St Johns West Ridge from destruction and also maintains the cemetery grounds for all families buried there. I am donating this booklet to Mr Curtin as a thank you. If all contributing families are in agreement I would like to try to sell this booklet with all proceeds going to help with costs of the upkeep of the Church and cemetery. The Church was built in 1863 by immigrants who settled in the area. I would like to keep the history of the families remembered for generations to come and at the same time say thank you to Mr Curtin.
