Edward Henry Hermeier was born 25 December 1892 in Ludlow, Allamakee, Iowa, and died 20 October 1956. He is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Waukon, Allamakee County, Iowa. He was the son of August Hermeier and Mathilda Stock Hermeier. August Hermeier was born 8 September 1863 or 1864 in Germany, and died 24 June 1909 in Allamakee County, Iowa. He married Matilda Stock (24 May 1865 -- 29 December 1952). They are both buried in Zalmora Cemetery, Ludlow, Allamakee, Iowa.

According to the Allamakee County, Iowa marriage record for August and Mathilda on 2 March 1892, August Hermeier’s parents were listed as Conrad Hermeier and Louise Hageman.

I did some further looking for you and located the following marriage:

Johann Konrad Kracht Hermmeier married Luise Christine Hagemann on 22 June 1845 in Hohenhausen, Lippe, Germany;

They have the right names – can’t promise it is them but it is worth pursuing. Good luck.
