I am still looking for correct information about John Ross (born 1819) The book titled "The First 100 Years of New Albin" state's that he was a veteran of the Mexican War, however, other places show that he fought in the Civil War. Also, I am in search for a death certificate for him, hopefully it will tell me where in PA he was born and his middle name.
Any help would be appreciated.
