Rubel Racket Store

I have a newspaper clipping from the Waverly Daily News of 15 Sep 1913 stating that Dr.and Mrs. Rubel, who recently sold out their racket store at Waukon are moving back to Waverly. Does
anyone know what a racket store was and does anyone have any info regarding Dr. Rubel?
