Thank you for the quick response to my needed info. what i saw about the POW was off a yahoo group about neswpaper tid bits out of Iowa stating that my father was a pow along with reeder, the name of the paper was allamakee journal, i have dont have access to the local waukon newspapers, but if u happen to find more info about my father please let me know, he told me very little about his military experience during the war. again thank you for the quick response.....
