MISS VELMA RENK IS BURIED AT WHEATLAND
Funeral services for Miss Velma Renk were held Monday, February 8th, from the St. John’s Evangelical church at Wheatland. The Reverend Armin Suedmeyer officiated and interment was in the adjoining cemetery.
The casked bearers were Olvin, Otto and Herbert Renk, Howard Meyer, William Kruse and Elmer Brinker.
Velma Renk was born April 1, 1910, on a farm near Wheatland, a daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Henry Renk. She received her education in the rural schools. Death came to her at the age of 28, following a two days illness of pneumonia.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Henry Renk and one brother, Roy.
DEATH OF VELMA RENK
Miss Velma Renk, who had been ill with pneumonia, passed away at her home at 1 o’clock Friday afternoon.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at St. John’s Evangelical church, Wheatland, with Rev. Armin Sandmeyer, resident pastor, officiating. Burial in St. John’s cemetery.
Deceased was born April 1, 1910, about seven miles west of New Albin. She received her education in the rural schools and was confirmed at St. John’s Church, Wheatland.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Henry Renk, and one brother, Roy.
Peace to the ashes of a fine young woman.
