Conie Henry, 64 of 511 Seventh Ave. S.W., died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, in University Hospitals, Iowa City, following a brief illness. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Turner East Funeral Home and Crematory, where friends may call after 10 a.m.

Survivors include his wife, Arleta; his children, Tom Henry of Cedar Rapids, Kendra Kajer of Toledo, J.J. Henry of Cedar Rapids, Brett Feuerhelm of Van Horne, Brian Henry of Cedar Rapids and Jeff Wallice of Charles City; his siblings, Robert of Cedar Rapids, Angie of California, Shirley of Coralville, Dale of Arizona, Charlie of Wisconsin and Lois of Cedar Rapids.

Also surviving are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and special friend, Hunter Henry.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bud and a daughter, Lori Brimmer.

Conie was born Sept. 12, 1940, in Waukon, Iowa, the son of Milton and Pearl Kathryn Henry. He married Arleta Howray on Nov. 1, 1991, in Waterloo. He was employed at Cargil for 39 years as an operator. He enjoyed camping and golf.
