Emmet Henry, 63

Services for Emmet Vincent Henry, 63, who died Wednesday when his truck was struck by a train near the Princeton Game Management Area, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the River Catholic Church, LeClaire. Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Kewanee, Ill.

Visitation is 2 to 9 p.m. today at Halligan-McCabe Funeral HOme where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Additional visitation is one hour before service time Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the church or Knights of Columbus 532, Davenport, of which he was a member of both, or a favorite charity.

He had resided in rural LeClaire.

He retired in 1977 from Davenport Works of Alcoa.

Mr. Henry married Mary Kirkhove in 1957 in Davenport.

He was a member of Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Loras General Assembly; Eagles Lodge 956, Rock Island; Millwrights Union, Local 2158; and Alcoa Credit Union and Retirees Club.

Survivors include his wife; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ronald (Joyce) Schmidt, Des Moines; a stepson, Donald Kirkhove, Sheffield, Ill; 10 step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; his mother Lillian Henry, Waukon, Iowa; sisters, Mary Henry, Waukon; Monica Schulte, Eitzen, Minn; Mrs. Allen (Helen) Kubitz, Camanche, Iowa and Donna Jeffery and Mrs. William (Lillian) Zeh, both of California; and a brother, Clarence, Camanche.
