LAST RITES FOR WAUKON RESIDENT

A mass of requiem was said Thursday at 9 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church in Waukon for Mrs. Edward P. Duggan. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Pall bearers were Nathan Hale, Steve Weidner, John Campbell, William Hart, Jr., Frank Metille, and Emmett Sullivan. Bakke and Hanson were in charge of arrangements and the rosary was recited at the funeral home Wednexday evening.

Mrs. Duggan died Monday February 1, at Waukon Veterans Memorial Hospital. She had been in poor health for the past several years. She was born Emma Haas January 27, 1890, in Allamakee County and was a daughter of Daniel and Johanna Troendle Haas. She was educated in the rural schools of Allamakee County and October 26, 1909 married Edward P. Duggan in St. Mary's Church, Lycurgus.

They were the parents of three children, Raymond and Evelyn, who both preceded their mother in death, and Mrs. Kermit (Dorothy) Sunderman of Waukon, who survives. Mrs. Raymond (Mary Lou) Buege of Waterloo is a surviving grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her husband and three brothers; Edward, Theodore, and William Haas.

Mrs. Duggan was a member of St. Patrick's Church, the Catholic Order of Foresters, and the Rosary Society.
