Henry Funeral Was on Saturday

The funeral of John Clifford Henry was held from Martin's funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Mr. E. L. Hennig officiating, and burial was in Oakland cemetery. Mr. Henry died last Thursday after a long illness.

He leaves two brothers, Andrew and Joe Henry, both of Waukon, and several nephews, nieces and friends here. Nephews served as pallbearers at the funeral.

The pallbearers were Leo Henry, Berton, Merle, Harris, Earl and Clifford Gruber.

Mr. Henry was preceded by five sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Edward Gruber, Mrs. Gus Gruber, Mrs Moritz Gruber, Mrs. Charles Haas, Mrs. Gus Leppert, Charles and William Henry, and his parents, Charles and Eva Henry. He was a lifelong resident of this section.
