CLIFTON LAVERN MORK 1924-1988

Funeral services for Clifton Mork were held Friday, Feb. 5, 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville. Rev. Julius L. Peterson officiated. Schutte Funeral Service, Postville was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Postville Cemetery.

Clifton Lavern Mork, son of Enock and Selma (Gjefle) Mork was born February 10, 1924 in Clayton County, Iowa. He died February 3, 1988 at the home of his parents.

He was baptized and confirmed at the Marion Church, Gunder. He graduated from the Postville High School in 1942. He farmed with his father and in later years he was employed at the Farmers Store, Hall Robert's Son and the UBC Lumber Co., all in Postville.

He is survived by his parents, 3 brothers, Don, Ft. Worth, TX, Eugene and his wife, Lola, and Tennis and his wife Joan, all of Postville; 5 sisters, Phyllis Frieden, Gwen Harris, Mrs. Marvin (Diane) Berg, all of Postville, Mrs. Charles (Bona) Thorson, of Castalia and Mrs. William (Carol) Buckley of Des Moines.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville.

Casket bearers were Scott Mork, Todd Mork, Randy Mork, Grant Mork, David Harris, Doug Harris, James Berg, Bill Buckley, Brad Buckley, Alan Mork, Larry Mork, Terry Mork and Jeff Frieden.
