CHARLES BACHTELL - died 1914

Charles Bachtell, 65 year old Post township farmer, passed away suddenly Tuesday afternoon. He is survived by the widow and a son, Ralph.

- note: Death Register 3, Page 92, Allamakee Co., Charles Bachtell died November 23, 1914 and was buried November 26, 1914 in the Carethers/Carithers/Smith Cemetery. His parents were David and Susanna V. (Davis) Bachtell. Charles' wife, Caroline Carithers died April 25, 1921 and buried in the same cemetery as her husband.
