Boone resident Ruby Bray, 89, died of cancer Sept. 15, 1993, at Boone County Hospital. Funeral services are 1:30 p.m. Friday at Schroeder Funeral Home with the Rev. Kay Roath officiating. Burial is at Mineral Ridge Cemetery at Ridgeport.

She was born Aug. 29, 1904, in Waukon, the daughter of Henry and Ella (Roffman) Dundee. She attended school at Forrest Mills and married Glen Bray Jan. 23, 1922, at Waukon. She lived in Weston before moving to Boone in 1950.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, a grandson, a sister and five brothers. Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Glen Jr., Robert and Rowena and Wayne and Susan, all of Boone; two daughters and a son-in-law, Lorraine Simon of Snohomish, Wash., and Frances and Ted Bass of Boone; a daughter-in-law, Mary of Council Bluffs; 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Schroeder Funeral Home where the family will be present from 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation continues Friday from 8 a.m. until service time.
