After a long period of ill health Orren Bray died at the University hospital at Iowa City Tuesday afternoon. He was a son of Walter and Nora Dundee Bray, born at Postville July 16, 1915. He was married to Bathsheba Murry March 25, 1941. They were the parents of four children.

Surviving are his aged mother, Mrs. Nora Bray, his wife, three daughters, Nora Rae, Judith Mary, Linda Rose and a son Harry Lee, a stepdaughter, Janet Murry, a half sister, Mrs. Charles Gaunitz, sister Mrs. Loren Snitker; two brothers, Everett Bray of Lansing and Arthur Bray of Washington State and a half brother Mel Ewing of Castalia. A brother has preceded him.

Funeral services will be at the Lutheran church at 2:00 p.m. Friday and burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. The Rev. J. H. Preus will officiate at both church and burial service.
