LLOYD BRAY 1902-1972
Services were held Thursday, November 16, 1972, at 1:30 p.m. from Schutte's Funeral Home, for Lloyd Bray, who died at the home of his brother Lawrence Bray, November 13, 1972. The Rev. Curtis H. Webster officiated.
Lloyd Bray, son of John and Ruth (Dundee) Bray, was born November 6, 1902 at Myron, Post Township, Postville. He received his education in the rural schools of the area and lived his entire life in the community with the exception of three years spent in the Navy as a Seabee from 1942-1945.
Mr. Bray worked on construction and as a carpenter until his retirement a few years ago. He never married.
Surviving are four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Charles (Ruby) Ewing, Waukon; Mrs. Harold (Mary) Flack, Postville; Mrs. Albert (Myrtle) Bertelson, Postville; Mrs. Irvin (Dorothy) Peterson, Decorah; Lawrence, Postville and Raymond, Decorah, also several nieces and nephews.
Interment was in the Smith Cemetery, Post Township.
