Dr. Burroughs Dies In Waterloo

Dr. Foster Burroughs, 58, of 179 Hampshire Road, Waterloo, died at Schoitz Memorial Hospital at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, January 18, of a coronary occlusion. Mrs. Burroughs is the former Evelyn Swenson of Postville.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, January 21 at 3:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Waterloo.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; one daughter, Mrs. Steve (Susan) Buckles, Manhattan, Kansas; one son, Dr. John I. Burroughs, Chiropractor, in Cooper City, Florida; five grandchildren and a brother Floyd of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Ann and his parents.
