Mrs. ARCHIBALD (Irene Molitor) CAMPBELL 1903-1994

Irene Campbell, daughter of Henry and Amelia Heim Molitor, was born Aug. 29, 1903 at Waterville, Iowa. She died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 1994 at the Good Samaritan Center, Waukon, Iowa. She had been a resident there since 1988. She was 90.

She received her education at the local country school. She was a member of the World War I Auxiliary of Clayton County.

She was united in marriage to Archibald "Arch" Campbell on Nov. 24, 1934 at the Cherry Mound Catholic Church. They lived on a farm east of Monona until retiring to Monona. After her husband's death, she moved to Waukon.

Preceding her in death were her husband, who died June 29, 1979; her parents; two brothers, Theodore and Leonard; and two sisters, Eva Young and Marjorie Topel.

Surviving are nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 22, 1994 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Monona, Father John Moran officiating. The organist was Mrs. Barbara Ruff. Pallbearers were Donald Molitor, Eldon Molitor, LaVern Molitor, James Walsh, Irving Walsh, and Joseph Kroack. Burial was in the Monona City Cemetery.

Schultz's Funeral Home in Waukon was in charge of services.
