CHAS. DEERING - died 1912
Chas. Deering, aged 73 years, passed away Saturday at the home of his son, Mort, northeast of Postville. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Carithers cemetery.

Charley Deering, one of the old and respected residents of Post township, passed away last Saturday at the house of his son, Mort Deering, northeast of Postville, death following a long period of failing health. He was aged 78 years, 11 months and 9 days. The funeral was held from the Evergreen school house Tuesday forenoon. Interment in the Carithers cemetery.
