ALBERT F. DREIER 1900-1950
Funeral services were held Sunday at the Schutte Funeral home for Albert F. Dreier, 50, who passed away suddenly in the court house in Waukon last Thursday morning shortly after 10:00 a.m. Rev. F. R. Ludwig was in charge of the rites. Interment was in Postville cemetery.
Mr. Dreier, who made his home with his aged father, Fred Dreier, on a farm north of Postville, apparently suffered a heart attack. He was near the county engineer's office when the attack struck him.
Albert Fredrick Dreier was born April 24, 1900 in Winneshiek county and passed away November 16, 1950 at the age of 50 years. He made his home with his father, Fred Dreier, and a brother, Herbert Dreier, at the farm north of Postville. He was baptized and confirmed in St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his father; one sister, Mrs. William Fischer; two brothers, Emmet of Castalia and Herbert at home; three half sisters, Mrs. E. Aumann of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mrs. Louise Schultz of Postville and Mrs. Emma Fischer of Janesville, Wisconsin; plus several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother.
