CECIL DUNDEE 1909-1971

Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 3, 1971 from Martin funeral home in Waukon for Cecil Dundee, 62, of Postville who died Friday, Oct. 1, 1971, at the Veterans hospital in Iowa City. He was a resident at Northgate Manor Waukon, for the past six months. The Rev. Curtis Webster was the officiating minister and burial was in Oakland cemetery.

Mr. Dundee was born July 28, 1909 in Jefferson township and was a son of Henry and Ella Roffman Dundee. He lived his entire lifetime in Allamakee county. He never married and served in World War II. Survivors are three brothers, Vern of Castalia and Rance and Kenneth of Waukon, and two sisters, Mrs. Glen (Ruby) Bray of oone (sic) and Mrs. Harry (Mina) Gobin of Waterville. A brother Chris preceded him in death.
