VERN R. DUNDEE 1897-1983

Funeral services for Vern Dundee, 85, Castalia, were held Tuesday, October 11, 1983, at 1:30 p.m. at Martins' Funeral Home, Waukon. The Rev. Rick King conducted the services. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

Vern R. Dundee, son of Henry and Ella Dundee, was born Aug. 28, 1897 in Monona. He died Saturday, Oct. 8, 1983 at Community Memorial Hospital, Postville.

He was a farmer and was married to Marguerite McMillan April 14, 1920. She died Sept. 28, 1978.

Besides his wife, he was preceeded in death by his parents; three brothers, Rance, Chris and Cecil; and a sister, Mina.

Surviving are a brother, Kenneth Dundee, Waukon; a sister, Mrs. Ruby Bray, Boone; and several nieces and nephews.
