Mrs. ROLAND (Dorrene F. Nolting) GROTEGUT

Dorrene F. Grotegut, 53, of Route 1, Waukon, died Thursday at Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital, Decorah, Iowa.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Zion United Church of Christ, with burial in Oakland Cemetery, both in Waukon. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday at the Martin Funeral Home, Waukon.

Surviving are her husband, Roland; a daughter, Mrs. Mark (Judith) Robinson of Butzbach, West Germany; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Nolting and a brother, Emmett Nolting, all of Waukon.

Notes: Dorrene's grandparents were Herman and Lydia (Hager) Nolting. Parents of Dorrene's husband, Roland Grotegut, were Simon Fred and Lydia (Rolfs) Grotegut.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 2, 1986 at Zion United Church of Christ, Waukon, Iowa for Dorrene F. Grotegut with Rev. John Saxton officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery, Waukon, Iowa.

Dorrene F. Grotegut, daughter of Ruben and Esther (Keehn) Nolting was born April 3, 1932 at Waukon, Iowa. She died January 30, 1986 at the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital, Decorah, Iowa. She was a graduate of Waukon High School and a member of Zion United Church of Christ.

On August 1, 1951 she was married to Roland Grotegut at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, Iowa. They were the parents of 1 daughter, Judith. She was a homemaker, an employee at Northeast Iowa Sales Commission and previously at Regan Pharmacy, Waukon.

Survivors include her husband, Roland, daughter, Judith (Mrs. Mark) Robinson of Butzbach, West Germany, her parents, Ruben and Esther Nolting and brother, Emmett Nolting, Waukon.

Pallbearers were Bill Thomson, Tom Thomson, Jerry Sommers, Donald Bahr, Charles Keehn, and Curtis Piggott. Honorary pallbearers were Jane Schulte, Marge Schulte, Joyce Althoff, Elaine Bahr, Diane Nolting, Janice Emerson, Marlys Leiran, Ann Goepel, and Elizabeth Livingood.
