RONALD HERMAN - died 1951

Roland Herman, 26, well known Allamakee county farmer near Waukon and the son of County Supervisor and Mrs. Roland Herman, was fatally injured Tuesday forenoon in a double accident. He died at Waukon Hospital. A car on which he was working slipped off a jack and fell on him. He was taken by car toward Waukon and the hospital when the driver of the car lost control of the machine and it rolled over. The double mishap proved fatal to the young man.

Note: correspondence from Marilyn, the sister of Mr. Herman: "the name Roland should be Ronald. Roland Herman was the father of Ronald and Marilyn."
