KATHERINE McLAUGHLIN

The remains of Miss Katherine McLaughlin arrived Sunday from Minneapolis, where her death occurred the day before, and were taken to the family home in Hanover township. Deceased was born in that township about 55 years ago, but the greater part of her life was spent in Minneapolis where she held the position of stenographer.

She is survived by three sisters and three brothers, namely: Mrs. Wm. Collins and John McLaughlin, Hanover; Josephine, Minneapolis, and Margaret, William and Thomas at home, who will sadly miss their loved sister.

Funeral services were held at the Dorchester Catholic church Monday with the burial in the cemetery nearby. The casket bearers were her six cousins, namely: Joseph and James E. Danaher, Thomas and Michael Burke, Morgan Cavanaugh and Chris Schwartzhoff.

An identical, or nearly identical obit for Miss McLaughlin was printed in the July 15, 1931 issue of the Dubuque Telegraph-Herald & Times-Journal. The date (1933) given for the submitted obit (above) is likely a typo.
