Mike Roffman Dies Monday In Sioux City

Sioux City resident Michael D. Roffman died at his home there Monday, July 5. He was 18.

Born July 20, 1963 in Mason City, he was the son of Donald and Georgean Kluss Roffman. He was a 1981 graduate of Sioux City East high school, attended Western Iowa Technical institute in Sioux City, was an assistant Scout master and was a member of Morningside Lutheran church.

He is survived by his parents; maternal grandparents Howard and Myrtle Kluss of Monona; a brother Matthew and a sister Audrey, both of Iowa City.

Funeral services were held Thursday, July 8 at 1 p.m. at the Nelson Berger-Morningside chapel in Sioux City, and Friday, July 9 at 1 p.m. from Martin's funeral chapel in Waukon. Burial was in Oakland cemetery. The Rev. Harold O. Ward conducted the services at Martin's.
