Otto Roffman Dies In Waukon

Services were held Monday, May 8 at 1:30 p.m. at the Martin funeral home, Waukon, for Otto James Roffman, 69, of Waukon who died Friday, May 5 in Waukon Veterans Memorial hospital. The Rev. Curtis Webster officiated.

Mr. Roffman was born January 21, 1909 in Allamakee county to Frank and Lucy Segrist Roffman. He was educated in the local schools and was a farmer.

November 2, 1929, he married Celia Regan in Postville. She survives as do sons Robert and Keith of Postville, Donald of Sioux City and John of Iowa City. Survivors also include a brother Earl of Waukon, sister Mrs. Mabel Helgerson, Castalia, 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A brother Harold, preceded him in death.

Interment was in the Oakland cemetery.
