Cecelia Roffman, 71, died Friday, July 4 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 6 at 3 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. William Roach officiated with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons, Daniel, Steven, David, Matthew, Michael and Brian Roffman.

Born April 2, 1909 in Allamakee County, she was the daughter of James and Anna (Welch) Regan. She attended Waukon High School and married Otto Roffman Nov. 2, 1929 in Waukon. He died in May of 1978.

She is survived by four sons: Robert and Keith of Postville, Donald of Sioux City and John of Iowa City; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Mary Stilwell of Spirit Lake, and two brothers, Francis and Kenneth of Waterloo. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leo and James.
