Mrs. ENGVOLD (Dorothy Jeanne Meier) SANDVIK

Mrs. Engvold Sandvik, Harmony, Minnesota, died Friday, February 23 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester after a long illness.

The former Dorothy Jeanne Meier, she was born near Postville September 25, 1906, the daughter of Henry W. and Millie Meier.

She taught school at Plymouth Rock, Iowa, four years and was married to Engvold Sandvik, October 1, 1927.

Active in church and club work, she was a member of Greenfield Lutheran church, Harmony, a charter member of the Harmony Rebekah Lodge and a charter member of the Harmony Garden club.

Survivors are her husband; one son, Keith, Rochester, one daughter, Mrs. Garth (Shirley) Bestor, Harmony; eight grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Ethel) Green, Postville; Mrs. Milo (Alice) Folsom, Waukon and Mrs. George (Charlotte) Fenton, Spring Grove, Minnesota.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 26 at 11 o'clock at Greenfield Lutheran Church, the Rev. I. C. Gronneberg officiating.

Burial was in the Greenfield Cemetery.
