Orma Benzing

Orma L. Benzing, 70, Fort Atkinson, WI died Sunday, Sept. 28, 1986 at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital.

The former Orma Kuhse was born July 21, 1916 at Postville, IA, the daughter of Fred and Anna (Meyer) Kuhse. She was married to Victor Benzing on Nov. 3, 1937 at Postville. They farmed around Farmersburg and Decorah, Iowa before moving to Ft. Atkinson, WI.

Orma is survived by her husband, Victor, 3 sons, Oran, Valier, MT; Wayne, Ossian; Arden, Cambridge, WI and 3 daughters: Mrs. Thomas (Mary) Farrell, Webster, WI, Mrs. Jim (Ruth) Turney, and Mrs. Dennis (Jean) Stedman, Fort Atkinson, 15 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, three brothers: Victor, Lorenz and Milo Kuhse, all of Postville and 3 sisters: Mrs. Orville (Helen) Peterson, St. Olaf, Mrs. Harlin (Hilma) Miller, Monona and Mrs. Charles (Pearl) Folsom, Waukon.

She was preceded in death by 1 grandson and 3 sisters, Alma, Lillian Braun and Hulda Block.

Services are Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 1 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Ft. Atkinson, WI.
