Eldo J. Schultz

Services for Eldo J. Schultz, Edgewood, were held March 2 at the Edgewood Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Heath officiating. Burial followed in the Edgewood Cemetery.

Schultz died Feb. 27 at the Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Manchester after a lengthy illness. He was 74.

He was born Dec. 2, 1907, at Postville, the son of Joachim and Anna Harnack Schultz. He received his education in the rural Castalia School. He was married to Esther Kuhse Nov. 12, 1930 at Farmersburg. He was a retired carpenter. He was a member of the Edgewood Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors are a daughter, Mary Lee Farmer of Cedar Rapids; a son, Eugene Schultz of Edgewood; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; four brothers, John and Albert Schultz of West Union, Ed Schultz of Lansing and George Schultz of Cedar Rapids.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Esther, Oct. 1981; one sister, Edna Lenth and three brothers, Henry, Louie and Fred.
