Services Held For Former Resident

Graveside committal services for John (Pete) Welsch, 69, were held Monday, October 5, 1964 at the Postville Cemetery, 2:00 p.m., by the Rev. J. A. Sullivan, pastor of St. Bridget's Catholic Church.

The deceased was born in Postville, the son of Mike and Emma Welsch.

An employee of Interstate Power Company since 1929, he retired three years ago, residing in Albert Lea, Minnesota. He died at a hospital in Rochester, following injuries received in a semi-trailer-truck-automobile accident in Albert Lea, in which his wife was severely injured and is hospitalized in that city.

He is survived by his wife; two sons; two daughters; several grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Herman Einholzer of New York and Mrs. Charles Collins of Burlington; one brother, Alfred Welsch of Jesup.
