J. WATERMAN
On Friday, the 8th ult., took place the funeral of Mr. J. Waterman, late of Bangor, Wis, at the residence of Mr. C. O. Howard, on Lansing Ridge. The ceremonies were conducted according to the ritual of the organization of the Masonic order, and were solemn and impressive throughout. He died at Bangor, and by his own request, was brought here where his relatives live, among whom are Messrs. C.O. and A. G. Howard, L. M. Bearce, and others, to be interred by the Masonic fraternity. The attendance was large, considering the very short notice that could be given. Where he lived, Mr. Waterman was known as an earnest, upright, public spirited, active man, who labored to discharge faithfully all the duties resting upon him as a citizen, and in the sacred precints of his own family circle.
