Walter W. Kaeser

Funeral services for Walter W. Kaeser were held Jan. 24, 1 p.m., at the Rossville Presbyterian Church. Rev. James A. Jacobson officiated.

Walter Kaeser, son of Charles A. Kaeser and Katherine H. (Donnegan) Kaeser was born Dec. 17, 1925. He died Jan. 21, 1989 at University of Iowa Hospital.

He did construction work for many years and was engaged in farming. He was disabled from an injury received while doing construction work. He attended the Waukon Schools.

On Jan. 1, 1954 he married Mary Anne Smith at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. The couple had 7 children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Mitzie Marie, a sister, Harriet and a brother, Charles.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Anne, and 6 children: Paul, Elizabeth, Gwen (Mrs. Alan Hoth), Todd, Jan and Gary; 2 brothers, John and Gordon of Waukon and a sister, Edith Reck of St. Louis, MO.
