Waukon- Funeral services for Julius Quanrud, 71, were held Saturday at Big Canoe church, with the Rev. W. T. Hexom officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.

He was born in Hanover township on Aug. 21, 1879, and lived there his entire life.

Survivors are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Fronde, Hanover township, Mrs. Arnold Sannes, Spring Grove, and Mrs. Chester Finholt, Decorah; and one son, Harris, at home; also four brothers living at distant points, with the exception of Henry Quanrud, Waukon, member of the Allamakee county board of supervisors.
