Waukon, Ia.- Mrs. Fred Fogt, 68, died Tuesday in a Postville hospital following an illness of seven months.

A lifelong resident of Allamakee county, Mrs. Fogt was the former Julia Klocke, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Klocke, and was born Nov. 17, 1881, in Ludlow township. She married Fred Fogt Feb. 12, 1902.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. C. C. Hoth, Postville; a son, Elmer, Waukon; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Siekmeier, Forest City; a brother, Ben Klocke; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday in the Zion Reformed Church, the Rev. E. L. Hennig officiating, and burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
