Waukon, Ia.- Funeral services for Melvin Moe, 46, who died Friday at his farm home east of Waukon, were held Monday in St. John's Lutheran Church. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery.

Moe was born Oct. 3, 1903, in Winneshiek county and after attaining manhood farmed in Allamakee county.

He is survived by his wife, the former Gladys Christianson; two sons, James, a senior in Waukon High School, and Donald, five; one daughter, Julia Marie; four brothers, Jesslie, Minneapolis, Selmer, Waukon, Earl, Winneshiek county, and Lloyd, Ludlow township; and two sisters, Mrs. Elmer White, Franklin township, and Mrs. Arthur Christianson, Makee township. A brother, Bert, died last December.
