Elizabeth Schulte, age 93, died Thursday, October 9, 2003, at the Good Samaritan Center in Waukon. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 11 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Dorchester, with Father Joseph Schneider officiating. Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery, Dorchester. Hanson Funeral Home in Waukon was in charge of arrangements Elizabeth L. Schulte was born January 20, 1910, in Dorchester, the daughter of Clem A. and Margaret (Schwartzhoff) Schulte. She went to school at the Washington School in Dorchester and St. Vincent Academy in Dubuque. She lived in Dorchester until 1959, when she moved to Waukon. Survivors include one sister, Helen North. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Clement Schulte and Veronica Schulte. Casketbearers were Andrew Cira, Michael Cira Sr., Michael Cira Jr., Ed Lauerman, and John North.
